NEW DELHI: A fresh plea on Friday by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi for urgent directions on its application for deferring the sealing drive in the capital was virtually turned down by the Supreme Court, which fixed hearing on the matter for Monday.
The order came on an oral plea made by MCD counsel Sanjiv Sen in this regard before a Bench headed by Justice KG Balakrishnan which said that it will be heard on November 6 along with the applications filed by the Centre and the civic body on Thursday.
The MCD counsel said during the mentioning hour that the corporation needed urgent additional directions other than what have been sought in the application filed by it earlier in view of the law and order situation.
