Seven people were killed and eight injured when a tractor collided with a truck on Mughal road in Jehanabad police station area here early this morning.
The accident took place when the tractor, without head lights, was going to Niyamakehra village, police said.
The tractor was carrying members of a band party, they said.
The tractor driver fled the scene after the accident while the truck driver was injured, police said, adding that the injured were admitted to hospital where the condition of some of them was stated to be serious.
