Sheena Bora Murder: What Peter Mukerjea said to the Mumbai police

The former Star CEO also claimed that neither his driver nor his wife mentioned anything about the killing. He added that he was willing to cooperate with the investigation and would like his lawyer to be present at the time of investigation.

Peter Mukerjea was questioned by police at the Khar Police Station on Friday. He told the police that he had absolutely no information about killing and had no direct or indirect connection with the killing. He also claimed that in 2012, when the murder allegedly took place, he was in Europe.

The former Star CEO also claimed that neither his driver nor his wife mentioned anything about the killing. He added that he was willing to cooperate with the investigation and would like his lawyer to be present at the time of investigation.

He also added that Indrani had informed him that Sheena was her sister and not her daughter. He claimed that his son Rahul had told him about the incident but he didn't believe him.

He also added that he knew about Rahul's relationship with Sheena and neither of them approved of the relationship. He said that he didn't have any clue that Indrani was in touch with her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna, and that Indrani had shown him e-mails from Sheena which were from the US.

Mikhail Bora, who was also questioned by the Mumbai Police, had earlier claimed he knew why Sheena was killed. Meanwhile, Sanjeev Khanna had claimed that he was sleeping and woke up to find Sheena's body while Indrani claimed that Sanjeev had strangled her.  (Read: All you need to know about Sheena Bora)
