Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit today visited LNJP hospital here to enquire about the health of the two Taiwanese nationals injured in the firing incident near the historic Jama Masjid in the national

Though Dikshit refused to talk to the media after her visit to the hospital, health officials said the chief minister has asked them to monitor their status round-the-clock and take special care of the victims "as they are our guests".

Zeseweiu had a miraculous escape as the bullet grazed his head while Chiang was hit in right abdomen and was operated upon.

"Both the patients are out of danger and are doing fine. One of them (Zeseweiu) will be discharged soon. Both have talked to their families," said Amit Banerjee, medical superintendent of LNJP Hospital.

The duo got injured when two men on a motorbike fired several rounds on a tourist vehicle near the Masjid in the walled city.

The police is still on the look out for the assaillants, who are yet to be identified while a red alert has already been sounded across the capital after the incident.
