Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday paid a courtesy visit to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi at the latter's official residence in Gandhinagar.
"Uddhav Thackeray met Gujarat chief minister at his residence. Their meeting lasted for over 75 minutes, during which they had discussion on several subjects," official sources said.
However, what transpired at the meeting was not known immediately.
Uddhav, whose party has been the constituent of NDA for long, had on earlier occasions criticised Modi's views on various issues, but has accepted him as the NDA's prime ministerial candidate.
