Shoaib Malik gives different names of father in divorce certificate

While the divorce certificate and the agreement which Malik signed with Ayesha Siddiqui on April 7, shows his father's name to be Malik Saleem Hussain, the wedding invitation card has Malik Faqeer Hussain named as his father.

Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik has given different names of his father in his divorce certificate with Ayesha Siddiqui and the wedding invitations for his marriage with Indian tennis star Sania Mirza but it turns out that both the names belong to the same man.

While the divorce certificate and the agreement which Shoaib signed with the Hyderabadi girl Ayesha Siddiqui on April 7, shows his father's name to be Malik Saleem Hussain, while the wedding Invitation card has Malik Faqeer Hussain named as his father.

According to police, the passport of Shoaib, which was taken by them during his questioning following the complaint by Ayesha, also carries the two names of his father.

"His (Shoaib) father's name has been given as Malik Faqeer Hussain alias Malik Saleem Hussain and both the names are of the same person," the police officer said.

Congress leader Abid Rasool Khan, who brokered peace between the Shoaib and the Siddiquis, said the Siddiquis have not objected on the matter as yet.

"Siddiquis do not have any objections on the different name issue," he said.

Shoaib is set to wed Sania on April 15 after a bitter marriage row with Ayesha, who had married him over phone.
