Social media goes berserk over Aarushi murder verdict
Aarushi, a class 9 student at a well-known Noida school, was found murdered at her L-block flat in Jal Vayu Vihar, Noida on May 15, 2008 — a couple of days before her birthday.
As soon as the Allahabad High Court acquitted Dr Rajesh and Nupur Talwar on Thursday, social media went berserk over the decision. Even, on Twitter, the key word 'Aarushi' was among the top three trends.Aarushi co-authored a blog too. One of the entries, which has a picture of her with her friends said, "We regret day and night. But overcoming those regrets is not that easy." The blog has been inactive since March 16, 2009.One of the blog entries on this page with the title 'Awesome Foursome' mentions the four close friends of Aarushi.
