Social worker sits on fast in Jammu in support of Hazare

Over 50 activists from Kashmir and Ladakh also sat on dharna in front of Jammu University.

Joining Anna Hazare's three-day long protest fast in Mumbai, a 62-year old social activist today sat on a hunger strike in Jammu demanding the passage of Jan Lokpal Bill in Parliament.

Om Prakash, who has been involved in various social activities in the state, sat on fast at Jeevannagar area of the city under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir-India Against Corruption.

"I will continue till Anna is on fast. I am his follower and I am lending full support to him in his anti-corruption campaign and passage of Jan Lokpal Bill," he said.

Over 50 activists from Kashmir and Ladakh also sat on dharna in front of Jammu University in Jammu.

Hazare's protest fast in Mumbai entered its second day on Wednesday.
