The special court trying the disproportionate assets case against former Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa today adjourned the case to March 22.

When the case up, Special Court judge BM Mallikarjunaiah adjourned it to March 22, in view of the memo filed by special
public prosecutor BV Acharya stating the Special Leave Petition (SLP) filed by Jayalalithaa in the case is coming up before the Supreme Court tomorrow.

When the case up for hearing on March 3, Mallikarjunaiah had ordered 42 prosecution witnesses to be summoned for cross examination between March 18-26. The order was passed on a memo filed by Acharya for recalling 45 witnesses.
