SpiceJet airline today announced that it is all set to launch six new international and domestic flights from September 25.
A second non-stop flight on the Kolkata-Bangkok line will be added, said a statement by the airline. Kolkata and Shirdi will also be connected via Chennai, it said.
All the new flights will be effective from September 25.
This comes after a number of flight operations for the airlines shifted terminals both at the Mumbai and Delhi airports for streamlined convenience for passengers and the airline.
From September 5, 2019, SpiceJet will consolidate its operations at Delhi airport by shifting entirely from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3. With this, its flight operations would be restricted to just two terminals – T 1 and T3 – of the Delhi airport.
For the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) in Mumbai, SpiceJet will shift full operation to Terminal-2 from October 1.
