A Srilanka Airlines plane carrying 227 passengers on Sunday hit the runway light at Cochin airport during take off.
According to initial reports, all passengers are safe.
The flight - UL-168 was cancelled after the aircraft wheel was damaged.
However, the runway which was closed for sometime is now open for take-off and landing.
