A pharmacy student allegedly committed suicide here by jumping from the college building.
25-year-old Saurav Sachan, pursuing Bachelor of Pharmacy from DJ Dental and Engineering college at Niwari Road in Modinagar, 22 kms from here, committed suicide yesterday.
He was rushed to a local hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Though college authorities felt it was a case of accident his colleagues alleged that the college management was harassing him due to some examination related issue.
"It seems to be a case of accident as there was no reason for committing suicide," College Chairman Sardar Ajit Singh said.
No suicide note was found from the spot.
