Students can play a vital role in changing society as they have a decisive force to mould people around them, Supreme Court Judge Justice DK Jain said today.
Jain lamented that those people who follow principles and rules inside their house to keep it going smoothly, start violating laws once they are out.
"We should learn and practise duties and decent behaviour towards others to make the society trouble-free," he said
while speaking at a conference of the National Legal Literacy
Mission here.
The conference, attended by a large number of legal luminaries and students, was organised by the Haryana Legal Literacy Authority and the Education department to create awareness among school and college students about various aspects of laws.
Justice Mukul Mudgal, chief justice of the Punjab and Haryana high court, said children must learn and spread the message of rule of law.
