Sufi singer Hans Raj Hans joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday in the presence of party President Amit Shah in Delhi.
Praising PM Narendra Modi, the Padma Shri awardee said, "I will work wherever I will be asked to. Where there is Modi, there is no weakness. He is a lion."
Hans had earlier joined Congress in February before quitting the Shiromani Akali Dal.
Hans had said, he had resigned from the Akali Dal about one and a half year ago as he had not found it coming to his expectations.
