Priyanshi bagged the honours by winning Maths World Cup-2010. Earlier, she had achieved this feat by solving 10 questions in just 6 minutes and 32 seconds. However, Turkey-based teenager Hassan Gulbagar broke her record by solving 10 questions in just 4 minutes and 55 seconds. A competition was held in Surat on Tuesday to break Hassan's record and Priyanshi solved 10 questions in just 2.43 minutes!

The speed with which she completed the task surprised everyone including her teacher.

“Priyanshi's feat is amazing and I don't think anyone can break her record. To solve one question, a good mathematician will also take more than five minutes, but Priyanshi solved all of them in just 2:43 minutes, which is amazing,” said, Deepesh Desai, her teacher. According to Desai, the question paper was prepared by the German-based Alternative World Record and Turkish Company Memoroid. It has similar questions which Hassan solved in 4.55 minutes.

Surprised by her own achievement, Priyanshi said, “I had no idea that it would take me only 2.43 minutes to solve the questions. I thought that it would take more than 3.5 minutes to solve them. I still can't believe what I have achieved,” said an ecstatic Priyanshi.
