Sushma Swaraj gets into action, helps girl who tweeted she lost passport in Germany

The External Affairs ministry took quick steps on Monday when an Indian national Agratha Dinakaran tweeted that she lost her passport. Dinakaran who is in Berlin, Germany tweeted that she had lost her passport and her money and could not reach the embassy as it was closed for the day.

In Berlin. Lost my passport. Lost my money. Indian embassy only open from 9 30 to 12 30. Does anyone have any contacts?

I visited the Indian embassy at 2 30 pm and told a man at the gate that I lost my passport. He asked me to come back at 9 30 am tomorrow.

The External Affairs Ministry was quick to reach out to her on Twitter and advised her on the issue.

It seemed like Dinakaran felt at rest after the embassy contacted her.

Update: Was contacted by the embassy and Sushma Swaraj herself. They're helping me out. I'll be at the embassy tomorrow.
