Tamil Nadu Elections 2016: Cash worth one crore seized by Election Commission in Coimbatore

EC officials seize Rs 1 crore 34 lakhs in Coimbatore.
The case has now been handed over to Income Tax Department.
The Election Commission on Thursday seized Rs 1 crore 34 lakhs from two persons in Coimbatore city of Tamil Nadu.
The news was confirmed by Coimbatore Collector Archana Pattnaik. The duo- Kalkut and Ashraf were travelling from Karnataka to Kerala when the amount was seized from them.
The matter has been handed over to the Income Tax Department, who is now questioning them.
