The mysterious girl giving hugs to boys —Video grab

The video, which went viral on social media, shows a teenage girl hosting Eid Milan with elan outside a mall in Moradabad, also known as 'Peetal Nagari'

Video of a Muslim girl, without veil, giving hug to youth of the community on the occasion of Eid outside a Mall in Moradabad district, Uttar Pradesh has become a latest hit on the social media.

The video, which went viral on social media, shows a teenage girl hosting Eid Milan with elan outside a mall in Moradabad, also known as 'Peetal Nagari'. She offered to hug young boys on the occasion as a celebratory gesture, given they maintain order and form a queue. Soon the queue swelled with Muslim boys making a beeline for the girl's hug.

In the video she is shown giving hugs with a smile to young Muslims boys one by one. The sensational Eid Milan went on for over an hour, but the young girl did not disappoint anyone standing in the queue.

There was a huge crowd gathered outside the Mall to witness the unique 'Eid Milan' hosted by the courageous girl, who openly challenged the fatwas issued by Maulanas making 'hijab' mandatory for all community girls after they attain puberty.

Many of them were seen making videos on mobile to capture every moment of the unique and rebellious event.

"It was a great surprise for all of us. We didn't expect a young girl from the community to hug us on Eid while standing on a road. She was not only without any fear, but sported a smile throughout which shows her courage," chuckled Asif (22). "I got the best of Eidi of my life" were some of the reactions which came from the boys.

Some of the community elders, however, objected to the sensational Eid Milan hosted by the girl in public. "It is un-Islamic, and we will complain to the parents of the girl," said an elder who was part of the crowd.

The identity of this smiling and brave girl is not known yet. However, it can be safely said that this event was far more successful than many events organised inside the Mall on Eid.
