Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) activists continued their angry protests and alleged attacks in support of party president K Chandrasekhar Rao's fast unto death for a separate Telangana state.

The suspected TRS workers attacked offices of former Union minister Renuka Choudhury and former Congress MLA J Venkat Rao (both Congress leaders) in Khammam district, where Chandrasekhar Rao is being treated at a government hospital.

The attackers attempted to set afire the camp office, leaving the windows of the building partially burnt last night, police sources said today.

The suspected TRS activists left behind a letter in Telugu language, in which they alleged that Chowdhury was anti-Telangana.

Venkat Rao's office at Sattupally in Khammam district was also vandalised by suspected TRS workers.

In Hyderabad, the party activists pelted stones at a major garment shop at Ameerpet and tried to set afire two railway bogies at Kachiguda railway station.

A group of students held a rally at Karmanghat and the students of Osmania University (OU) held a demonstration. Relay hunger strikes are also being held at OU.

Students of other educational institutions took out rallies at Adilabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad and other Telangana districts.
