Three Amarnath pilgrims die due to cardiac arrest

Three pilgrims have died due to cardiac arrest at Baltal and Sheshnag en route the cave shrine of Amarnath in South Kashmir Himalayas, officials said here today.22-year-old Pardeep Kumar Jaswal of Uttar Pradesh died at Sheshnag on the Pahalgam-Amarnath route yesterday, officials said.While 55-year-old Badkar Parvinder of Madhya Pradesh died at Baltal, another 55-year-old Suthi Lal Gupta of Varanasi died at Dumel near Baltal due to cardiac arrest, they said.A total of 40 pilgrims have died due to various reasons since the Amarnath yatra started on June 30.
