Three civilians killed in Pakistan firing at LoC

The fresh ceasefire violation from Pakistan comes just hours after Wing Commander Abhinandan arrived in India on Friday evening.

Tension has escalated at the Line of Control (LoC) after Pakistan shelled a civilian area, leaving three people dead and another injured, in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district.

Deputy commissioner of Poonch Rahul Yadav told DNA that three civilians were killed and another injured. "I am on way to the hospital," he said.

The fresh ceasefire violation from Pakistan comes just hours after Wing Commander Abhinandan arrived in India on Friday evening.

With three fatalities, the toll in the cross-border shelling has climbed to four in the last 24 hours. On Thursday, a woman was killed and another man injured in cross-border firing.
