Two women and a minor girl were killed today when a speeding truck hit them near Rampur village in Begusarai district, police said.
The dead bodies were handed over to their relatives after autopsy at a government hospital.
Angry locals blocked the Begusarai-Khagaria National Highway near the village for more than 3 hours demanding arrest of the truck driver, who escaped after the accident, they said.
