NEW DELHI: Three schoolgirls were raped by two unidentified boys in a government school in northwest Delhi, police said on Thursday.
The incident happened around 11 a.m. when the victims, student of Class II and IV in MCD school Ashok Vihar went to the toilet in the school premises.
“Two boys, who were already hiding there, raped them and escaped from the place after tying their hands and feet,” a police official said.
One of the victims managed to untie the rope and then informed teachers about the incident who then called the police, the official added.
“We have sent the girls for medical examination and are investigating the matter,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northwest Delhi) NC Bundela said.
