Three shops were gutted when a fire broke out in a village of Udhampur district in Jammu and Kashmir, police said here today.
The fire broke out due to a short circuit in a shop and soon spread to adjoining shops at Panchari village, about 80 km from here, in Udhampur district last night, they said adding, all the three shops gutted completely.
However, there was no loss of life or injury to anyone in the incident, they said.
In another incident, eight vegetable carts were also gutted in a fire incident due to a short circuit in Narwal area here last night, they said.
