The fact that Jammu and Kashmir remains largely incident-free post abrogation of Article 370 a month back hasn't gone down well with the Pakistani military establishment. They are now trying to foment trouble in the valley by pushing terrorists from PoK.
According to Indian intelligence sources, Pakistan Army and ISI have started a concerted attempt to increase infiltration of terrorists into Kashmir valley. The intelligence agencies have identified 18 terror camps and launch pads where terrorists are getting prepared to cross over to the Indian side. After preparation, they will go to the launch pads located near LoC from where they will wait for green signal from their handlers to infiltrate. Three new camps have also come up, according to intelligence sources.
After the Balakot strikes, which destroyed JeM safe house, the terrorists and their bosses were lying low. But again a significant mobilisation of terrrorists have taken place.
Launchpads have been identified at Balakot, Garhi, Habibullah, Batrasi, Chero Mandi, Shiwai Nala, Muskara among others. In Kotli area, terror camps and launch pads have been identified at Gulpur, Sesa, Barali, Dungi and Kotli.
Additional new camps have been spotted at Bahawalpur, Bumba and Barnala.Post abrogation of Article 370, 5 people have died in Jammu and Kashmir in the hands of stone pelters and puppets of Pakistan, Indian Army said in a press conference on Wednesday.
