Mother of Tulsi Prajapati, a key witness in the Sohrabuddin case, has sent a legal notice to the state DGP and CID crime to stop the probe in her son's encounter case.
Narmadabai Prajapati of Ujjain, in her notice asked the CID crime to stop the investigation in her son's encounter case, as her petition for a CBI probe is pending with the Supreme Court.
In the legal notice sent through her lawyer Amrish Patel, Narmadabai has contended that investigation by the CID seems to be illegal and done with a malafide intention.
Narmadabai has questioned the motive of CID which has suddenly swung into action after three and half years of the
incident.
She has further contended that CID ought to have waited for the SC decision on her plea. Narmadabai has also expressed lack of faith in the probe by the CID crime and said if they will not stop the investigations then she will be compelled to take legal action.
Tulsi, was a key witness in the fake encounter of Sohrabuddin Sheikh and alleged murder of his wife Kausar Bi, was killed by Gujarat police in an encounter near Ambaji in Danta taluka of Banaskantha district while being shifted from Rajasthan to Gujarat in December 2006.
CID has recently arrested seven policemen including IPS officer Vipul Agarwal in the case.
