Two held at Bangalore airport with ketamine worth Rs1 crore
The two, Stanley Pradeep Devasan and Shivasubbaiah, arrived at BIA from Kuala Lumpur by an Indian Airlines flight. Stanley is a Bangalorean while Shivasubbaiah hails from Chennai.
Two persons were arrested and 14.5kg of ketamine valued at about Rs1 crore in the international market seized from them at Bengaluru International Airport in the wee hours today,police said.
The two, Stanley Pradeep Devasan and Shivasubbaiah, arrived at BIA from Kuala Lumpur by an Indian Airlines flight. They were detained during immigration check and customs officials found the ketamine concealed in their luggage, the sources said.
Stanley is a Bangalorean while Shivasubbaiah hails from Chennai. They are in the custody of custom officials and are being interrogated, the sources said.
