Two persons were killed when a truck fell into a ditch on Mangan-Singam highway in North Sikkim, police said today.
Samir Saikh, a resident of West Bengal, and Targain Lepcha were killed on the spot yesterday as the ill-fated truck plunged into a 250 feet ditch after the driver lost control, the police said.
The bodies were recovered and handed over to their families, they said.
