Around two lakh detonators being smuggled to Nepal were seized from a truck near Hartali Chowk in Patna, police said today.
Acting on a tip-off a police patrol intercepted the truck and seized it late last night, the police said.
Invoices from Rajasthan Explosive and Chemicals Limited consigned for Synergic Power Development Private Limited in Nepal were also seized.
The detonators were to be smuggled to Nepal through the border at Raxual in Bihar's East Champaran district, police said.
The driver and helper of the truck were arrested and were being interrogated at the secretariat police station in Patna.
