Two Maoists held in Orissa

The two, identified as Suresh alias Subhash (22) and Narasingha (25), were involved in the attack on Dangasorada police outpost in Rayagada district in 2007 and several other criminal offences.

Two hardcore Maoists allegedly involved in many crimes and attacks on police establishments were arrested from Orissa's Rayagada district today, police said.

The ultras were picked up during combing operation in the dense forest of Bisamcuttack area, about 80 km from here, and efforts were on to nab their associates, Rayagada district Superintendent of Police AK Singh said.
