Two women and a minor boy, were killed by slitting their throats by unknown persons at Murarai in Birbhum district, the police said today.
The police said Nasima Bibi (38), her married daughter Najia Khatun (18) and her minor son Hasib Seikh (10) were found in pools of blood by the neighbours late last night at Bhusna village.
Nasima was admitted to the local hospital in a critical condition where she died within few minutes.
Their throats were slit with sharp weapons, the police said adding that nobody was arrested. Nasima was abandoned by her husband who lived separately, the police said.
