Union Budget 2024: Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh, or Amit Shah, which minister got highest share of budget?

The budget has allocated the maximum amount to the Defence Ministry. The Defence Ministry of Rajnath Singh has been given Rs 4 lakh 54 thousand 773 crore by the Centre.

The 2024 budget was presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The 48 lakh 20 thousand crores that make up this budget. For each ministry, distinct funds have been set aside in this budget. The budget has allocated the maximum amount to the Defence Ministry. The Defence Ministry of Rajnath Singh has been given Rs 4 lakh 54 thousand 773 crore by the Centre.

The budget includes a sum of Rs 2,65,088,08 crore designated for the Ministry of Rural Development. Currently serving as the nation's minister of rural development is Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Amounts allocated to the agriculture sector total Rs 1,51,001,151 crore. Shivraj Singh Chauhan is also in charge of overseeing this ministry.

Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan responded to the budget by stating that numerous measures had been taken to make the nation's agriculture technology-based and chemical-free as well as to give farmers long-term benefits. The government wants to introduce natural farming to one crore farmers nationwide.

Responding to the budget, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that many steps have been taken in this budget to provide long-term benefits to the farmers and to make the country's agriculture technology-based and chemical free. The government has set a target of connecting 1 crore farmers across the country with natural farming.

Agriculture productivity and adaptability, he said, are the government's top priorities for a developed India. Strengthening crop production, storage, and marketing is our determined goal. A budget that prioritises farming diversification and the creation of climate-friendly varieties has been made. 32 new agricultural varieties and 109 new horticultural crop varieties will be introduced under this program.

According to Shivraj Singh Chauhan, a plan for oilseed and pulse self-sufficiency has been created and is included in the budget. Five states will receive Jan Samarth-based Kisan Credit Cards in addition to a digital survey of crops in four hundred districts. In addition, start-ups, cooperative societies, and FPOs will be encouraged.

The Home Ministry comes next. Amit Shah's Home Ministry has been allocated Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand 983 crore in the Union Budget.
 
The Education Ministry has been allocated Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand 638 crore in this Budget 2024.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has been given a budget of Rs 1 crore 16 lakh 342. 
 
In relation to the Health Ministry, this ministry has been allocated Rs 89,287 crore. The Energy Ministry has received funding totalling Rs 68,769 crore. To the Ministry of Social Welfare, an amount of Rs 56,501 crore has been given. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has been given a sum of Rs 47,559 crore.
