Unnao road accident: 18 killed, over 20 injured as sleeper bus collides with tanker on Lucknow-Agra Expressway

A bus and a tanker collided in a tragic road accident in the Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday morning. Reports state that a sleeper bus going from Shivgarh in Bihar to Delhi on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway collided with a tanker on the runway in the Behta Mujawar police station area.
The collision was so severe that both the bus and the tanker were shattered into pieces. 18 people, including two women and a child, died in the accident. At the same time, about 20 people were seriously injured. The police, who arrived on the scene, are currently engaged in relief work. The injured are being taken to the hospital.
