Lashing out at UPA and the Congress, Chief Minister Narendra Modi called the central government the “biggest enemy of Gujarat”, and said it is jealous about its development. He alleged that the union government is creating hurdles in all its development projects. “On every issue I had to fight with the union government like an enemy. They treat Gujarat as an enemy and don’t want the state to progress in various fields. To them, Gujarat is like a nail in their shoe,” Modi said.
Modi alleged that a certain family in Delhi hates Gujarat and frames policies which can create unwanted troubles for Gujaratis. He also referred to Sardar Patel and Morarji Desai while lashing out at the Congress.
“Looking at the treatment being given to Gujarat and its people, I can feel the pain which Sardar Patel and Morarji Desai felt when they were in the Congress. The party never treated these leaders well,” Modi added.The CM also hit out at the policies of the UPA government.
