Uttar Pradesh government has amended the UP State Judicial Service Authority Rules 1996 following which the judicial body would now have 24 members instead of 22.     The step was taken yesterday at cabinet meeting presided over by chief minister Mayawati. As per the amendment, the State Judicial Service authority would now have 24 members, instead of 22 including chief patron and working chairman and member secretary, a release said here today.     In another decision taken by the cabinet, the government will provide free newspapers to fourth grade employees of the Allahabad High Court and its bench at Lucknow.     As per the decision, the Group D employees of the High Court would be provided one newspaper each free of cost.
