Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav to distribute job letters to 100 skill-trained girls

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will distribute employment letters to 100 female applicants trained under skill development mission on National Youth Day, an official spokesperson said on Thursday. The CM will also launch an online career platform 'Lifeset' for the youths on the same day to open the window of job opportunities, he said.

On Akhilesh's initiative, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed with seven major industrial units for training and providing employment to youths, he said. The companies would train around 50,000 applicants in a period of three to five years, and employ 80% of them, the spokesperson said. 

The CM would also felicitate 50 young leaders selected under 'My School My Voice' project on January 12, he added. The event will commence on January 12, which also marks the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand.
