50 cm railway track found damaged in Lucknow, major accident averted
Fifty centimeters of railway track was found damaged in the Mohanlalganj area of Lucknow on Friday. As per Hindustan Times, the Uttar Pradesh ATS suspects there is a terror angle in the incident.
A major mishap was averted as a train driver realised the tracks were cut. A Lucknow-Prayag passenger train was plying on the route, but the driver's alertness ensured that an accident was avoided.
As per HT reports, the ATS has found a hexagon blade and it will send for forensic testing.
