LUCKNOW: Amidst a heated debate in the BJP over party leader L K Advani's 'Prime Minister-in-waiting' remarks, former Prime Minister A B Vajpayee on Saturday night said his blessings are with him.
"Completely," Vajpayee replied when a TV reporter asked him here if his blessings are with Advani.
Vajpayee's remark assumes significance as it came on a day when newly elected BJP chief Rajnath Singh gave subtle hints that he was the 'bridegroom,' who would take the 'bride' and install it in New Delhi, thereby clearly suggesting that he was a candidate for the top job.
