Whatever is required to further modernise the state police has to be done regularly and in a time-bound manner, to enable it to meet the emerging challenges, he said.

Director general of police (DGP) Kuldeep Khoda said that the graph of terror violence is rapidly coming down in the state and this year, as of now, the drop in such cases is to the extent of 24%.
