Is there more than what is visible to the eye in case of the murder of a woman in Anandnagar on Monday? Madhu, a resident of Dhananjay Bungalow on Anandnagar road, was found murdered inside her home on Monday afternoon.
During the course of their investigation on Tuesday, cops found a country-made pistol and a large knife from the bungalow.
According to police, both these weapons had blood stains and were hidden beneath the bed.
Meanwhile, the investigation has taken an unexpected turn. The cops have reportedly come across a letter written by Madhu.
However, officials of Anandnagar police have not confirmed about the discovery of letter yet.
According to sources, it is learned that the letter is undersigned by Madhu and written in Hindi on August 24. The date was mentioned at the bottom of the letter.
It is learned that, translated in English, the letter reads, “I was once proud of being young and attractive. But, that is past now. I am totally shattered due to my mental disorder. Our relation is no longer that of a wife and husband. Trust has disappeared and it will never be established again. My husband needs a female servant who can take care of his needs”.
It is also learned that Madhu was very suspicious of her businessman husband Rajkumar Agarwal. They used to have frequent quarrels, as Madhu would constantly nag him.
Meanwhile, cops are still on the hunt for the Agarwal’s domestic help Manila, who is considered the prime suspect in loot and murder. According to Niraj Badgujar, deputy commissioner of police (DCP) zone1, Manila got help from two others in committing the crime. “The Agarwal family has employed one Rohit as temporary cook for the last one month. He used to come and make chapattis. We suspect that he along with Manila must have orchestrated the murder and loot” said Badgujar.
Investigation also revealed that Manila was employed through a Jharkahnd-based agency for a salary of Rs4,000. Since she does not have a mobile phone, cops are finding it difficult to trace her.
