The first International Yoga Day turned out to be huge success around the world. On Sunday, the International Yoga Day celebrations at Rajpath led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi set two Guinness World Records - the largest number of participants at 35,985 and the most number of nationalities at 84.
The day was meant to inspire and bring awareness about the benefits of practising yoga . As a way of promoting the ancients tradition DMDK chief Vijaykanth had a poster of him performing an asana in the background at a Yoga Day event in Tamil Nadu. However on the day, the public got a look some unheard of yoga poses by the man himself, while leading almost 100 party workers.While we are not sure what to call it, it did provide much laughter.
