Several individuals travelling on the Chandigarh-Manali highway witnessed a landslide as rocks and loose earth collapsed onto the tarmac and the river along the highway.

The landslide occurred near the Hanogi temple on the National Highway 21 (NH21) between Chandigarh in Punjab and Manali in Himachal Pradesh.

The temple is located in the Mandi district.

The state Public Works Department (PWD) of the state is working with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to clear the highway at the earliest.
