Delhi and the surrounding National Capital Region (NCR), which includes Noida, Gurugram, and Faridabad is expected to have moderate rainfall today (July 5), according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The week’s weather outlook suggests that the showers will come with mostly cloudy skies and gusty winds with speeds reaching 30-40 km/h.

However, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi stood at 78 as of 9 AM on Thursday, classified as “satisfactory” by the Central Pollution Control Board. 

The AQI scale ranges from 0-50 for “good” air quality, 51-100 for “satisfactory,” 101-200 for “moderate,” 201-300 for “poor,” 301-400 for “very poor,” and 401-500 for “severe.”
