Rain is expected to move across northern Gujarat and adjacent southeast Rajasthan during the following two days as it moves west-northwestward. Gujarat is expected to experience similar weather until Monday.

An orange alert has been issued for Konkon, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Saurashtra, and Kutch, warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall from today through Tuesday.In North Konkan and North Madhya Maharashtra, this weather trend is expected to last through today and tomorrow, but only today in Marathwada.
From today, the forecast for Kutch and Saurashtra is the same. The weather service has issued a red alert for Gujarat, meaning that heavy to extremely high rain is predicted to fall there till September 18.
Another red alert has been issued for east Rajasthan for today and tomorrow due to the predicted unusually heavy rain. While west Rajasthan could receive 115.6 to 204.4 mm of very severe to heavy rain tomorrow. It's conceivable that light to moderate precipitation could fall in Himachal Pradesh today and Uttarakhand on Monday.
Light rain, thunderstorms, and lightning are expected over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands from tonight through Monday as well as over Odisha on Tuesday and Wednesday. A few isolated places of severe rainfall are quite likely. Along with coastal and southern interior Karnataka, it is very possible that interior Tamil Nadu may have light rain today and tomorrow.
