Expressing confidence that BJP will come to power again after next assembly elections, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday said that he will again become Chief Minister of the state. Addressing a public function in Latur district, Fadnavis said that he has become chief minister due to blessings from people. He said that people of Latur will yet again repose their faith in him and people of state will-elect BJP to power and him as chief minister of the state.
Fadnavis inaugurated 17th Atal Health Camp and announced that state Government will build 200-bed Government hospital in Latur. Making this announcement, he added that Government will provide Rs. 100 crores for building this hospital in three phases. He said, ' The money will be disbursed in 2 phases before the next assembly elections and the last phase will be completed after BJP is re-elected to power and I become chief minister. I am clarifying this because one may ask that how can you assure the third disbursement and I am sure that people of Latur will-elect us to power and I will again become chief minister to complete this Latur hospital project.’
Fadnavis said that Maharashtra is facing acute water scarcity situation since there was no rainfall at the fag end of the Monsoon season. He said that the Panchanamas or crop reports will be completed by December and will be sent to Union Government so that farmers can be adequately compensated for crop damage.
