A woman was allegedly beaten to death over dowry and later her body was thrown into a river by her in-laws in Khutahan area, police said here today.The body of Sarita (28) was recovered on the banks of Pili river in Lakhnepur village. Prima facie, it seems that she was beaten to death, they said.On a complaint lodged by Sarita's father Udai Raj, police has lodged an FIR against her husband Sanjay and his parents.
