Driven to desperation by penury, a woman immolated herself after burning her one-year-old baby at Shivnagar Mohalla under Town police station in Bihar's Nawada town today, official sources said.
Rinku Devi, wife of a labourer Rajan Kumar, burnt her baby to death before pouring kerosene on her bodies to set herself to fire, sources said. Both of them died on the spot.
