Youth stabbed to death in New Delhi on Diwali

The body of Pradeep, a resident of Mayur Vihar Phase-II, was recovered from Central Park in east Delhi's Kalyanpuri.

A 24-year-old man was stabbed to death here allegedly by three drunk youths following a scuffle after the victim's motorcycle hit them when he was on his way to meet his friend on Diwali, police said today.
    
The body of Pradeep, a resident of Mayur Vihar Phase-II, was recovered from Central Park in east Delhi's Kalyanpuri and the three accused Devender, Vikas and Manish were arrested, a senior police officer said.
    
Pradeep had come to the area to meet his friend with the same name when he met with his tragic end, the officer said. The victim's motorcycle accidentally brushed one of the accused and it led to an argument and later scuffle. In a fit of rage, one of the accused allegedly stabbed Pradeep, who died on the spot.
    
The incident came to light when the victim's friend approached police and complained about the incident. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
