Yuvraj Singh to campaign for BJP?

As Yuvraj Singh's meeting with BJP chief Amit Shah sparked off speculation that he would campaign for the party in Haryana, the cricketer tweeted saying he went to discuss cancer problem in the country.

Singh's meeting with Shah at the party headquarters came just as the Election Commission announced that the Haryana election would be held on October 15. The cricketer is from Chandigarh.

"Dear friends, just to clarify @YUVSTRONG12 met BJP president Amit Shah to discuss cancer problem in India n wht @YOUWECAN is doing," Yuvraj's cricket manager Nishant Jeet Arora tweeted.

Yuvraj, who has himself battled cancer, is struggling to make a come back into the Indian team.

The BJP, which is banking on its Lok Sabha performance reflecting in the assembly polls, has parted ways with Kuldeep Singh Bishnoi's Haryana Janhit Congress.
