'West watching with jealousy,' says Kremlin as PM Modi visits Russia. In an interview, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, that the West is closely and jealously watching PM Modi's visit to Russia. Peskvok further said, 'Their (West's) close monitoring means they attach great importance to it'. Notably, this is PM Modi's first visit to Russia after the Ukraine war started in February 2022. Both countries are expected to discuss multifaceted relations over regional and global views. PM Modi will be in Russia for 2 days starting July 8.
